Manage Inventory

Goal: Use the inventory area to find stock items, review quantities, understand where items are stored, and decide whether to move, request, or order more stock.

Inventory is the starting point for most Stock & Supply work. Check the item and its current quantity before creating a request, recording a movement, or adding a new catalogue item.

Before you start

  • You must have permission to view Stock & Supply.
  • Confirm that the correct yacht is selected.
  • If you need to change quantities or create items, you must have permission to edit inventory records.

Use the inventory area

### Open Stock Items

Open Stock & Supply and go to the stock item list.

Search for the item

Use search, filters, and column tools to find the item by name, category, storage location, quantity, or other visible information.

Open the item detail

Open the stock item to review its details, files, storage information, movements, and related purchasing activity.

Choose the next action

If the item exists but the quantity is wrong, record a stock movement. If the item is missing from the catalogue, add it as a new stock item. If the item is needed on board, create a pending request or purchase request according to your onboard process.

Result

You know whether the stock item already exists, where it is stored, and what action should happen next: update the catalogue, adjust stock, request more items, or start procurement.
