Renew a Crew Certificate

Goal: Review or renew an existing crew certificate while keeping the previous version available in certificate history.

Before you start

  • The crew certificate must already exist.
  • You must have permission to edit or review crew certificates.
  • Prepare the renewed certificate number, issue date, expiry date, and updated file if available.

Open the certificate

### Open Crew Certificates

From Crew, open Certificates.

Find the certificate

Use search, filters, or the Expiring and Expired views to find the certificate.

Open the certificate

Renew the certificate

### Start the review

Click the review or renewal action shown on the certificate page.

Enter the new certificate details

Add the new certificate number, new issue date, and new expiry date.

Attach the updated file

Upload the renewed certificate file if available.

Confirm the renewal

Save or confirm the review.

Check history

After renewal, open the certificate history area to confirm that the previous version is still available.

Use history when you need to review older certificate numbers, previous issue and expiry dates, or earlier attachments.

Renewal should create a clear trail from the old certificate to the new one. If you only need to correct a typo, confirm whether your process expects an edit or a formal review.

Result

The renewed certificate is current, the updated file is attached, and the previous certificate remains available in history.
