Check Common First Issues

Goal: Run quick checks when something in IN-YACHT looks missing, outdated, disabled, or different from what you expected.

Before you start

  • Stay on the page where you noticed the issue.

Check the selected yacht

Many records belong to a yacht. If the wrong yacht is selected, the page may show different cards, records, notifications, reminders, categories, reports, or actions.

Check the yacht selector in the top bar first.

If a record is missing from a table, clear the search box and use Reset Filter.

Filters, sorting, grouping, quick filters, and row selections can change what you see.

Refresh the page or table

Use Refresh on the table or detail page when another user, import, workflow action, or recent save may have changed the data.

Check permissions

If a button, field, page, card, report, or upload area is missing, your profile may not include access to that action.

Ask your administrator to confirm your access in plain language, such as “I need to edit PMS tasks on this yacht.”

Check the record status

Some records become read-only or allow fewer actions after they reach a certain status. Workflow records may only allow the next step when the record is ready.

Check whether the module is active

If a whole area is missing, the related module may not be active for the selected yacht.

If you need to report an issue, include the yacht name, module, record name, action you expected, and what you actually see.

Result

You can rule out the most common causes before asking for help: wrong yacht, active filters, stale data, missing permission, record status, or inactive module.
