Define the Charter Itinerary

Goal: Add the planned charter route so the yacht team can see the expected destinations and timing for the trip.

Before you start

  • A charter booking must already exist.
  • Confirm that the correct yacht is selected.
  • Prepare the planned destinations, dates, and any known arrival or departure details.
  • Destinations should already exist in the destination list, or you must be able to add them.

Steps

### Open the charter booking

Open the charter from the Charter list.

Open the itinerary area

Go to the section used to manage the charter itinerary.

Add an itinerary stop

Click New, Add, or the equivalent action used to add a stop.

Select the destination

Choose the destination or add it first if it is not available.

Enter timing information

Add the planned date and any known arrival, departure, or notes required by your process.

Save the stop

Save and confirm that the stop appears in the itinerary.

Repeat for the full route

Add each planned stop in the order the yacht expects to follow.

Keep the route readable

Use clear destination names and keep the order aligned with the expected trip plan. If the itinerary changes before or during the charter, update the charter record so the office and yacht are working from the same plan.

The itinerary is a planning tool. If your yacht also creates operational voyages for navigation or logbook work, confirm internally whether those records must be updated separately.

Result

The charter itinerary shows the planned destinations and timing for the charter.
