Update a Crew Member
Goal: Review and update an existing crew member profile, including personal details, passport data, contact information, contracts, documents, certificates, contacts, and medical notes.
Before you start
- The crew member must already exist.
- You must have permission to view the crew member profile.
- You must have permission to edit crew records if you need to change profile fields.
- Prepare any updated documents, certificate information, contact details, or contract information before you start.
Open the crew member profile
From the main navigation, open Crew and select Crew Members.
Find the crew member
Use search, filters, or sorting to find the crew member.
Open the profile
Click the crew member row.

Update main profile information
Review the visible profile sections and update the information that has changed.
The profile can include:
- Personal details, such as name, gender, photo, and rank information.
- Passport and visa details.
- Main contact details, including phone numbers and email address.
- User details, including linked user access and spoken languages.
Update related tabs
Use the tabs on the crew member profile for related information:
- Contracts: add or review employment and rotation details.
- Documents: upload and open files connected to the crew member.
- Certificates: add or review crew certificates.
- Contacts: maintain emergency or additional contacts.
- Medical: review medical notes if your profile allows access.

Save the changes
Check that the changed fields are correct.
Save the profile
Click Save to keep the changes on the current profile.
Use Save and Close if you want to return to the previous list after saving.
Confirm the result
Wait for the confirmation message before leaving the page.
If the profile is read-only
If fields are read-only, check these common reasons:
- Your profile may not include permission to edit crew records.
- The information may belong to another related section, such as contracts or certificates.
- The selected yacht may not be the yacht where you are expected to manage the record.
Ask your administrator to review your access if you are expected to edit the profile.
Result
The crew member profile is updated. The Crew Members list reflects any changed personal data, contact details, contract status, or boarding status according to the information saved on the profile and related tabs.
