Goal: Review previous status changes to understand how a record moved through its workflow.
Before you start
- Open a record that includes workflow history or workflow logs.
What workflow history shows
Workflow history helps you understand what changed, when it changed, and who made the change.
Depending on the record, history may show the previous status, the new status, the date, the user, and notes entered during the change.

When to use workflow history
Use workflow history when you need to answer questions such as:
- Who moved this record to the current status?
- When was the record approved, closed, or sent back?
- Why is the record now read-only?
- Was a note added during a status change?
