Manage Guest Preferences
Goal: Record useful guest notes and preferences so the crew can prepare service, safety, and hospitality details before the guest arrives.
Before you start
- The guest must already exist.
- You must have permission to edit guest records.
- Confirm which preferences your yacht records in IN-YACHT and which details should remain outside the system.
Where preferences are stored
Guest preferences can be recorded as notes or as related guest information, depending on your yacht process.
Use preferences for practical information that helps the crew prepare a better guest experience, such as service notes, special requirements, or relevant reminders.

Update guest notes
From Guests, open the guest profile.
Find Notes
Review the notes area on the profile.
Add or update preferences
Write clear, concise notes that are useful for onboard operations.
Save the profile
Save the guest profile and wait for confirmation.

Medical and dietary considerations
Use the medical area for health-related information such as allergies, blood type, smoker status, or special medical conditions.
Do not mix medical details with general hospitality notes unless your internal process requires it.
Result
Guest preferences and notes are available from the guest profile, helping the crew prepare service and safety details before the guest arrives.
