Record a Fuel Operation

Goal: Record a bunkering or fuel operation against a tank so fuel quantities and related costs can be reviewed later.

Use fuel operations for fuel activity, such as refuelling, transfers, or consumption. Use inventory movements for ordinary stock items.

Before you start

  • You must have permission to record fuel operations.
  • The tank must already exist.
  • Confirm the operation type, date, quantity, unit of measure, and any finance details before saving.

Steps

### Open Fuel Operations

Open Stock & Supply, go to Fuel & Bunkering, and open the operations list.

Create a new operation

Select the action to create a new fuel operation.

Choose the operation type

Select the type of operation, such as refuelling, transfer, or consumption.

Select the tank

Choose the tank the operation applies to.

If your internal process requires additional transfer details, add them in the available notes or supporting information according to your onboard procedure.

Enter quantity and date

Enter the date, quantity, and unit of measure.

Add finance details when needed

If the operation includes cost information, enter the currency, unit price, account, payment information, or other available finance details.

Save the operation

Review the operation, then save it.

Result

The fuel operation is recorded and appears in the operations list. The selected tank’s operation history is updated for later review.
