Plan a Crew Rotation
Goal: Create and review crew boarding schedules so the yacht can track who is expected on board, when they join, and when they leave.
Before you start
- Confirm that the correct yacht is selected.
- The crew member should already exist.
- The crew member should have the correct rank available from contract information.
- Prepare the boarding date, optional deboarding date, and boarding or deboarding ports if known.
- You must have permission to manage boarding schedules or crew rotation.

Open Crew Rotation
From the main navigation, open Crew.
Select Rotation
Select Rotation.
The Crew Rotation table opens.
Choose the list view
Use All to review the full list, or Active to focus on active boarding schedules.
Create a rotation entry
Click New to create a new crew rotation entry.
Select the crew member
Choose the crew member.
If the crew member has rank information available, the rank may be suggested automatically. Check it before saving.
Confirm the rank
Select or confirm the rank for the rotation.
Enter the boarding date
Set the From date. This is the date the crew member is expected to join or start the rotation period.
Add ports if known
Select the boarding port and deboarding port if this information is available.
If the port is missing and your profile allows it, create the port from the same form.
Add the deboarding date if known
Set the To date if the end of the rotation is already planned.
Save the rotation
Save the entry and wait for the table to refresh.

Review active rotations
Use the Active filter to check which crew rotation entries are currently active.
Open a row when you need to review or change dates, rank, or port information.
Result
The crew rotation is recorded with the selected crew member, rank, dates, and ports. The Crew Rotation list can now be used to understand who is planned to be on board and who is planned to leave.
