Plan a Crew Rotation

Goal: Create and review crew boarding schedules so the yacht can track who is expected on board, when they join, and when they leave.

Before you start

  • Confirm that the correct yacht is selected.
  • The crew member should already exist.
  • The crew member should have the correct rank available from contract information.
  • Prepare the boarding date, optional deboarding date, and boarding or deboarding ports if known.
  • You must have permission to manage boarding schedules or crew rotation.

Open Crew Rotation

### Open Crew

From the main navigation, open Crew.

Select Rotation

Select Rotation.

The Crew Rotation table opens.

Choose the list view

Use All to review the full list, or Active to focus on active boarding schedules.

Create a rotation entry

### Click New

Click New to create a new crew rotation entry.

Select the crew member

Choose the crew member.

If the crew member has rank information available, the rank may be suggested automatically. Check it before saving.

Confirm the rank

Select or confirm the rank for the rotation.

Enter the boarding date

Set the From date. This is the date the crew member is expected to join or start the rotation period.

Add ports if known

Select the boarding port and deboarding port if this information is available.

If the port is missing and your profile allows it, create the port from the same form.

Add the deboarding date if known

Set the To date if the end of the rotation is already planned.

Save the rotation

Save the entry and wait for the table to refresh.

Review active rotations

Use the Active filter to check which crew rotation entries are currently active.

Open a row when you need to review or change dates, rank, or port information.

Rotation planning affects how crew availability is read across the platform. If a crew member appears to be on leave or on board unexpectedly, check the active rotation and contract information first.

Result

The crew rotation is recorded with the selected crew member, rank, dates, and ports. The Crew Rotation list can now be used to understand who is planned to be on board and who is planned to leave.
